Tundra owners wrap for two distinct reasons: contractors and trades running fleet branding on a full-size workhorse, and enthusiasts on the third-gen (2022+) trying to break up its slab-sided, polarizing front clip. Because it's a domestic-rivaling full-size truck that's less common than an F-150 or Silverado, a wrapped Tundra reads as a deliberate choice rather than a default — color-shift and matte builds stand out hard in a sea of factory-white work trucks. The big flat bedsides and tall doors also make it one of the better trucks for large-format logo and number work without fighting body lines.

## What a Toyota Tundra wrap costs

The Tundra is a **full-size** vehicle — roughly **350 sq ft** of wrappable surface. Commercial graphics and lettering start from **$650**, and a full color change is priced by the area we cover — **$17/sq ft** up to 50 sq ft, **$15** up to 100, **$13** for larger jobs, **$550** minimum, never a flat badge rate. The price tracks square footage and install hours on the Tundra itself — not the badge on the trunk.

Model-year note. There are three clear generations in this range: the first 2007–2013 (huge bumpers, rounded body), the long-running second gen 2014–2021 (chrome-heavy front clip, refreshed in 2018), and the all-new 2022+ third gen on the TNGA-F platform with a composite/aluminum-reinforced bed and a completely redrawn, much squarer front fascia. The generation boundary matters for die-lines: a 2014–2021 nose and a 2022+ nose are not interchangeable templates, and the third gen's available factory matte-ish paints and two-tone roofs change how an owner spec's a partial wrap. ## Wrapping a Toyota Tundra: panels & install

The Tundra is mostly large, flat, forgiving panels — long bedsides, tall doors, and a wide tailgate — but the work lives in the details: deep door-handle pockets, the high beltline cladding on TRD/SR5 trims, and the textured plastic lower rocker and fender flares that vinyl will not adhere to reliably and are usually masked off rather than wrapped. Third-gen trucks add a stamped, sculpted hood and a busy grille surround with more compound curves up front, so the cab and bed go fast while the front fascia and mirror caps eat most of the install time.

## Finishes for your Tundra

Satin or matte suits the Tundra's slab sides best — the broad bedside and door panels show every ripple under gloss, and a low-sheen finish hides minor body waviness while reading tough and modern on a work truck. For owners chasing attention on the 2022+ third gen, a color-shift over the large flat surfaces pays off because there's enough uninterrupted real estate to actually see the flop. ## Owner tip for your Tundra

From our install bench. On the current Tundra, the deep character line stamped down the bed sides and the bolt-on composite bed make tricky transitions. We'll wrap the metal cab and bed panels separately so seams hide in those creases, and post-heat the tailgate handle recess hard, since that's the first edge to lift on a daily hauler.

## Toyota Tundra wrap FAQ

### Can you wrap the textured plastic fender flares and lower cladding on my TRD Tundra?
Those grained-plastic flares, rockers, and bumper trim won't hold vinyl long-term the way painted sheet metal does, so we normally mask them off and wrap only the painted body panels. If you want them changed, color-keying or coating them is a more durable route than wrapping the texture.

### Does the 2022+ Tundra's composite bed wrap the same as the older steel beds?
The new third-gen bed uses sheet-molded composite outer panels, which take vinyl fine on the smooth bedside surfaces, but the molded-in texture on some areas and the more sculpted body lines mean we plan seams differently than on the flatter 2007–2021 steel beds. The cab and doors wrap conventionally on both.

### How much does it cost to wrap a Toyota Tundra?
Commercial graphics and lettering on a Tundra start from $650, and a full color-change wrap is priced by the vehicle's size and the area we cover. Coverage, finish, and how complex the design is move the number — the badge never does. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

### How long does a Tundra wrap last, and does it come off clean?
A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Tundra lasts about 5–7 years with care. A Tundra that lives outside lands at the lower end of that range; a garaged one holds the top — either way removal is paint-safe. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
