The Maverick draws a younger, budget-minded buyer who got a compact unibody truck for cheap and wants it to look custom, so wraps here lean heavily toward personalization rather than fleet branding — though tradespeople do wrap the base XL work trucks too. Its biggest wrap-specific angle is that early trucks shipped in a lot of flat, low-cost solid colors (Area 51 gray, Oxford White, Carbonized Gray), so owners use wraps to add a color-shift or satin finish the factory never offered, and the unibody body means there is no separate bolt-on bed cap to fight like on a body-on-frame truck.

What a Ford Maverick wrap costs

The Maverick is a mid-size vehicle — roughly 260 sq ft of wrappable surface. Commercial graphics and lettering start from $650, and a full color change is priced by the area we cover — $17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. You pay for the film and the labor it takes to cover your Maverick, never a flat number copied from a bigger or smaller vehicle.

Model-year note. 2022–2024 trucks are the first-gen launch design; the 2025 refresh brought a redesigned front fascia with a new grille and a restyled lower bumper plus added a Lobo trim, which changes the front-clip die-lines and the bumper/headlight bagging — so a wrap kit or template cut for a 2022 won't line up cleanly on a 2025+ nose. Factory paint across the run is typical Ford solvent-based and generally wrap-friendly once decontaminated, with the matte-look factory grays being especially forgiving of minor prep. Wrapping a Ford Maverick: panels & install

Because it's a unibody, the bed sides are stamped continuous with the cab quarter on each side, so you wrap the rear flank as one flowing panel rather than a separate bed box — but the molded-in bed cleat rails, the integrated tie-down pockets, and the FLEXBED stamped channels on the inner bed walls are pain points that need cutting around or relief slits. The flat door skins and slab tailgate wrap easily, but the blacked-out C-pillar trim, the contrast lower-body cladding on FX4/Lariat, and the snug fender-flare gaps are the spots where you spend your time.

Finishes for your Maverick

Satin is the sweet spot for this truck: it dresses up the flat factory grays and whites without the orange-peel-amplifying glare of gloss on those large, simple door and bed panels, and it photographs as premium on a budget vehicle. Color-shift is the other strong pick for owners specifically chasing a look Ford never sold, since the Maverick's broad, flat flanks give a shift film room to actually travel through its color range. Owner tip for your Maverick

From our install bench. The Maverick's textured-plastic lower cladding around the wheel arches and bumpers won't hold vinyl, so plan your color break above it. On the slab-sided bed and tailgate, mind the molded FLEXBED tie-down channels: wrap edges tuck cleanly there, but post-heat them so a daily commuter's load-ins don't lift.

Ford Maverick wrap FAQ

Do you have to remove the bed liner or the FLEXBED cleats to wrap the bed?

Most Mavericks come with a sprayed-in or molded bed surface that we don't wrap, but the painted upper bed rails and outer bed flanks do get wrapped, and the FLEXBED cleat rails and tie-down pockets are worked around with relief cuts rather than removed.

Will a wrap made for a 2022 Maverick fit my 2025?

Not on the front. The 2025 refresh restyled the grille and lower bumper, so front-clip panels were re-stamped — door, bed, and tailgate templates carry over, but the nose pieces need to be cut for the specific model year.

How much does it cost to wrap a Ford Maverick?

Commercial graphics and lettering on a Maverick start from $650, and a full color-change wrap is priced by the vehicle's size and the area we cover. Final price depends on coverage, finish, and design — never a flat badge price. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a Maverick wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Maverick lasts about 5–7 years with care. On a work truck like the Maverick the vinyl takes the jobsite scuffs instead of your paint, and it still peels clean off healthy panels when the graphics change. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
