GMC Hummer EV Wrap in Sacramento
Updated

Hummer EV owners wrap for two reasons that are specific to this truck: the factory color palette is narrow and the body is enormous, so a wrap is one of the few ways to make a $100K+ rig actually stand out, and the slab-sided sheet metal is a magnet for rock chips and door dings around the wide flares. The unique angle here is scale and the removable roof: with the Infinity Roof's four modular Sky Panels off, you can wrap or PPF the cab and the painted roof rails far more cleanly than on a fixed-roof truck, and the flat, upright surfaces make large single-piece graphics genuinely achievable.

What a GMC Hummer EV wrap costs
The Hummer EV is a extra-large vehicle — roughly 450 sq ft of wrappable surface. A full color change starts from $5,850, with lettering and partials from $550 — $17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. You pay for the film and the labor it takes to cover your Hummer EV, never a flat number copied from a bigger or smaller vehicle.

Wrapping a GMC Hummer EV: panels & install
This is a big, boxy body with mostly flat door skins and a near-vertical tailgate, which is easy material-wise, but the install time goes into the deep fender flares, the heavily sculpted front fascia, the "HUMMER" debossed lettering on the hood and tailgate, and the gloss-black lower cladding that wants its own seam line. Plan extra relief work around the angular wheel arches and the charge-port door on the driver-side front fender, and account for the removable Sky Panels and exposed roof bows as separate template pieces.
Finishes for your Hummer EV
Satin or matte is the strongest call on the Hummer EV: the flat, high-volume panels make gloss show every wave and the upright doors broadcast reflections, while a satin or matte finish reads as purpose-built and hides the slab-side oil-canning. Color-shift can work because there's so much square footage to let the flop develop, but I'd steer owners away from full chrome here since 450-plus square feet of mirror finish is brutal to keep clean and overheats on a vehicle this large. GMC Hummer EV wrap FAQ
Do I have to remove the Sky Panels / Infinity Roof before you wrap it?
Not the whole roof, but it helps. The four transparent Sky Panels pop out and store in the frunk, and pulling them lets us wrap or PPF the painted roof rails and cant rails cleanly without fighting the glass edges; the panels themselves are tinted polycarbonate, not body color, so they don't get wrapped.
Should I wrap the gloss-black lower cladding and fender flares too, or leave them?
You can do either, but most owners leave the textured/gloss-black cladding and flares factory and wrap only the painted upper body, which gives a clean two-tone break along the existing trim line. If you do want color over the cladding, know that the textured plastic sections need a different (often matte/cast) film and more heat to lay into the grain, so it's priced and templated separately from the smooth door skins.
How much does it cost to wrap a GMC Hummer EV?
A full color-change wrap on a Hummer EV — about 450 sq ft of extra-large surface — starts from $5,850, with partials and lettering from $550. Final price depends on coverage, finish, and design — never a flat badge price. Get a real number on our Get Started form.
How long does a Hummer EV wrap last, and does it come off clean?
A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Hummer EV lasts about 5–7 years with care. EV clearcoats like the Hummer EV's run thin from the factory, so the film shields the paint underneath — peel it later and the original finish is better off than the bare panels. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
