Can you wrap the chrome spindle grille surround and trim on my RX, or only the painted panels?
On the painted body panels yes; the chrome and gloss-black grille pieces on the 4th-gen RX are usually best removed and wrapped off the car or left factory, since film over textured grille mesh and tight chrome returns lifts over time. On the 5th-gen, much of the spindle is body-color plastic and wraps cleanly along with the front clip.
Will a wrap hurt my Lexus paint or cause issues when I return my lease?
No — quality cast film is removable and actually shields the factory paint from sun and rock chips, which matters on the RX's large hood and front fenders.
