NV200s get wrapped because they're the cheapest blank-canvas cargo van a small business buys — plumbers, florists, locksmiths, last-mile couriers — and their tall, near-vertical slab sides are huge uninterrupted billboards at eye level in tight city traffic. The unique angle is fleet-matching at low cost: the flat sliding-door panels on both sides give symmetrical, repeatable logo placement, so a two- or three-van fleet looks identical without custom layout per vehicle. Because it's a compact van, a single wrap reads cleanly from a parked curbside position where a full-size Transit or ProMaster would be too long to photograph in one frame.

What a Nissan NV200 wrap costs

The NV200 is a mid-size vehicle — roughly 280 sq ft of wrappable surface. Commercial graphics and lettering start from $650, and a full color change is priced by the area we cover — $17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. That's quoted off the NV200's real surface area and time on the bench, so a same-size sedan costs the same as a Tesla — no badge tax.

Model-year note. The North American NV200 ran essentially one generation from the 2013 launch through 2021 with no major sheet-metal change, so a wrap template cut for a 2014 fits a 2020 — the practical differences are the badge-engineered twins (Chevrolet City Express, 2015–2018) which share the body and die-lines, and the higher-spec SV trim adding body-color bumpers instead of black plastic, which changes how much of the lower fascia you can actually wrap versus exclude. Tell us your year so we cut and quote to the right die-lines.

Wrapping a Nissan NV200: panels & install

The body is dominated by large flat verticals — both sliding cargo doors, the lower body sides, and the twin rear barn doors — which wrap fast and clean, but the deep window-area recesses, the sharp wheel-arch lips, and the textured black plastic bumpers and lower cladding are the real time sinks and need either separate panels or careful exclusion. The factory roof has raised channel rails and a slight crown, so roof graphics require relief cuts along those ribs rather than a single sheet.

Finishes for your NV200

Gloss is the right call for almost every NV200 because the body has so little sculpting that matte or satin flatten it into a dull box, while gloss keeps brand colors punchy and survives daily commercial washing far better. Reserve matte or satin only for a deliberate premium/utility look, and skip chrome and color-shift — the broad flat panels make every install seam and squeegee mark glaringly visible in those finishes. Owner tip for your NV200

From our install bench. The NV200's flat, near-vertical cargo sides are a wrap's best friend, but those deep sliding-door tracks and the body-color bumper seams trap film edges. Have us tuck and post-heat them, and skip wrapping over the textured lower cladding where adhesion fights you.

Nissan NV200 wrap FAQ

Can you wrap the textured black bumpers and lower body cladding on my NV200?

We generally don't, and you shouldn't want us to — vinyl struggles to bond and stay down on that grained plastic, so it lifts at the edges within months. We wrap the painted sheet metal up to the cladding line and leave the black trim as a factory contrast, which actually looks intentional on this van.

Will a wrap fit over the sliding doors and still let them open and close normally?

Yes. We wrap each sliding door as its own panel and knife the vinyl cleanly in the door gaps and at the track so nothing binds or peels when the door travels. The flat door faces are the best part of the NV200 to wrap, so that's where your main logo and message go.

How much does it cost to wrap a Nissan NV200?

Commercial graphics and lettering on a NV200 start from $650, and a full color-change wrap is priced by the vehicle's size and the area we cover. What changes it is how much of the NV200 you cover and which finish you choose, not the make. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a NV200 wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a NV200 lasts about 5–7 years with care. On a high-use NV200, sealed edges around the doors and panels are what make it last; at end of life it removes paint-safe. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
