Supra owners wrap mostly to protect or transform a body that ships in a short menu of factory colors, and because the A90 is so heavily BMW-derived under the skin (it shares the B58 inline-six and Z4 architecture) there's a strong owner culture around making one stand out. The compact 2+0 coupe also has notoriously paint-thin, soft factory clear on rocker areas and the rear arch flares, so the real conversation is usually PPF on the nose and rockers versus a full color-change vinyl over the swoopy panels.

What a Toyota Supra wrap costs

The Supra is a compact vehicle — roughly 220 sq ft of wrappable surface. A full color change starts from $2,850, with lettering and partials from $550$17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. That's quoted off the Supra's real surface area and time on the bench, so a same-size sedan costs the same as a Tesla — no badge tax.

Model-year note. The line ran as the 4-cyl 2.0 and 6-cyl 3.0 from 2020, with the big 2021 update bumping the 3.0 to roughly 382 hp and adding the limited A91 Edition, but the body die-lines stayed consistent across 2020-2026 so templates carry over. The notable change for templating is the 2023 A91-MT Edition and later cars adding a six-speed manual, which doesn't alter exterior panels, so a single Supra A90/A91 template set covers the whole 2020-2026 range. Wrapping a Toyota Supra: panels & install

The Supra is a wrap-heavy body for its size: the double-bubble roof, the kicked-up ducktail spoiler integrated into the deck, the faux side vents and aero scallops, and the heavily flared rear haunches all create tight compound curves and recessed channels that demand careful relief cuts and post-heat to hold. The functional and non-functional vents, the front splitter lip, and the rear diffuser surround are common spots where installers either wrap separately or mask off, since the plastic-to-body transitions don't take a single continuous panel cleanly.

Finishes for your Supra

Satin and color-shift finishes flatter the Supra better than flat matte, because the double-bubble roof, the dramatic ducktail rear, and the deeply sculpted fenders rely on light rolling across compound curves to read as shape, and a satin or flip finish keeps those reflections alive where true matte flattens them into a slab. For owners chasing a clean OEM-plus look, gloss color-change over a base like A91 Nitro Yellow or Renaissance Red keeps the depth while letting the body lines pop. Owner tip for your Supra

From our install bench. The Supra's double-bubble roof and sculpted ducktail spoiler trap film tension, so insist those compound curves get post-heated and sealed. Owners love satin grey or chrome-delete accents here; just keep wash mitts off the rear hatch seam where edges lift first.

Toyota Supra wrap FAQ

Should I do PPF or a color-change wrap on my Supra's front end?

For the nose, splitter, and rocker flares I'd run clear paint protection film because the Supra's lower bodywork and the leading edge sit low and catch a lot of stone chips, and the factory clear there is thin. If you want a new color, you can color-change vinyl the rest of the car and run PPF underneath or just over the high-impact zones.

Can the double-bubble roof and ducktail be wrapped in one piece?

The roof's twin domes can usually be wrapped as a single panel with heat and a careful center pull, but the ducktail and the rear deck transition are typically split or finished separately because the spoiler lip and the trailing edge are too sharp to tuck cleanly in one pass. Expect seams or wrap-arounds at the spoiler underside and the diffuser surround rather than a single continuous skin.

How much does it cost to wrap a Toyota Supra?

A full color-change wrap on a Supra — about 220 sq ft of compact surface — starts from $2,850, with partials and lettering from $550. What changes it is how much of the Supra you cover and which finish you choose, not the make. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a Supra wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Supra lasts about 5–7 years with care. Garaged and hand-washed, a Supra holds the upper end of that range; baking in the Sacramento sun pushes it lower. Removal stays clean and paint-safe. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
