Can you wrap just the roof and mirror caps on my GTI instead of doing the whole car?
Absolutely — a contrasting black or red roof with matching mirror caps is one of the most popular partial jobs we do on the GTI. The roof has only a mild curve and the caps come off or wrap in place cleanly. It's a faster, lower-cost way to change the look while keeping the rest of the factory finish for resale.
My Jetta is the usual white or grey — will that factory color show through a color-change wrap?
No. Premium cast vinyl is fully opaque, and we wrap the door jambs and edges, so a darker or brighter color completely hides the original Pure Grey or white paint. The only spots the base color stays are deep recesses we intentionally leave unfilmed, like behind trim that remains on the car.
