Wrapping a Chevrolet Tahoe: panels & install
The Tahoe's long flat door panels and tall flat quarter wrap fast and clean, but the install time lives in the details: the body-side molding line, the flared wheel arches, the deeply recessed door handles, and the C/D-pillar transition around the rear quarter glass all need relief cuts and post-heat. On the post-2021 generation the rear liftgate and tail-lamp surrounds got more sculpted, so plan extra material for the corners and the tailgate handle recess.

Can you wrap the Tahoe without removing the body-side molding or door handles?
We can wrap up to the body-side molding without pulling it, but for a clean, lasting edge we recommend removing the door handles so the film tucks behind them instead of being cut around the recess. Leaving handles on is faster but the wrap edges sit exposed at a high-touch spot and will lift sooner.
My Tahoe is the rugged Z71 with the two-tone lower cladding — does that change the wrap?
Yes. The Z71's textured black lower cladding and wheel-arch trim are a grained plastic that vinyl does not adhere to as reliably as the painted upper panels, so we either mask those pieces out of the wrap or quote them separately. Most owners wrap the painted body and leave the factory black cladding as-is for a clean two-tone result.
