Owners wrap the Q50 because it is a clean, sport-sedan canvas that many buyers picked in factory colors like silver, white, or black, then want to set apart without affecting resale on a leased or financed car. The flowing C-pillar to trunk shoulder line and the deep front fascia give it a more aggressive presence under a darker or color-shift film than its understated factory paint suggests, which is the usual reason Sacramento owners come in for a full color change rather than just accents.

What an Infiniti Q50 wrap costs

The Q50 is a mid-size vehicle — roughly 245 sq ft of wrappable surface. A full color change starts from $3,200, with lettering and partials from $550$17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. The price tracks square footage and install hours on the Q50 itself — not the badge on the trunk.

Model-year note. The 2014–2017 cars and the heavily refreshed 2018-onward Q50 have different front bumpers, grille shapes, and headlight outlines, so a die-line or template cut for an early car will not line up on a 2018+ fascia. Within that, the 3.7L V6 early cars and the later 3.0t/Red Sport and hybrid variants share the same body shell, so panel templates carry over even when badging and lower valance trim differ. Wrapping a Infiniti Q50: panels & install

The double-arch grille, the strongly curved front fender wheel arches, and the pronounced character crease running the full length of the door skin are the hard spots, the door crease in particular wants a heat-set squeegee pass so the film locks into the recess instead of bridging it and lifting later. The frameless-style door tops, deeply recessed door handles, and the compound curve where the trunk lid meets the rear quarters all call for relief cuts and inlaid edges to avoid tunneling.

Finishes for your Q50

Gloss and color-shift films suit this car best because the Q50's curvy fenders and crease-heavy doors throw reflections that show off a glossy or flip finish, where a true flat matte tends to wash out those same lines. Satin is the safe middle ground for owners who want a step away from factory gloss without the fingerprint and cleaning headaches that matte black brings on a daily-driven sedan. Owner tip for your Q50

From our install bench. The Q50's deep front-fascia scoops and that sculpted hood character line trap film tension, so we relief-cut and post-heat those creases hard. Owners love a satin or matte graphite over the factory paint here; just keep automatic washes off the door-handle pockets, where edges lift first.

Infiniti Q50 wrap FAQ

Do you have to remove the Q50's door handles and badges to wrap it?

We pull the recessed door handle trims and the rear badges so the film can be tucked and edge-wrapped cleanly instead of cut around, which is what keeps the edges from peeling. The Infiniti grille emblem and any chrome window trim are handled case by case depending on whether you want them wrapped or left factory.

Will a wrap cover the chrome window surround and trim strips on my Q50?

Yes, the chrome lower window trim can be wrapped or overlaid with a black trim film, which is one of the most popular requests since it tones down the brightwork that dates the older 2014–2017 cars. It is a separate process from the body panels because those thin trim strips need their own dedicated film strips and edge sealing to hold.

How much does it cost to wrap a Infiniti Q50?

A full color-change wrap on a Q50 — about 245 sq ft of mid-size surface — starts from $3,200, with partials and lettering from $550. Coverage, finish, and how complex the design is move the number — the badge never does. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a Q50 wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Q50 lasts about 5–7 years with care. Keep a Q50 out of all-day sun and off harsh car-wash brushes and it holds color for years; on healthy paint it comes off with no residue. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
