Gladiator owners wrap to protect a truck that lives outdoors and off-pavement while keeping the bolt-on JT body endlessly reconfigurable — the doors, hardtop, and even the windshield come off, so a wrap has to look right with the Jeep fully dressed or stripped to a roll cage. The unique angle is that removable doors and a fold-down windshield mean every edge an owner touches is also a wrap edge, so owners want clean wrapped door surrounds and a finish that hides trail rash on the wide, slab-sided box and bedsides.

Three limits worth knowing before you book a Gladiator wrap. 1. The roof and hood age fastest — 3M rates Series 2080 at 7 years vertical but only 2 years horizontal in our climate zone, so flat panels fade first. 2. A wrap covers paint, it does not repair it: on peeling clear coat or filler, film can lift the surface on removal, so we inspect before quoting. 3. Removing an old wrap is billed separately at $75 per hour, and cheap calendared vinyl left past its life takes the longest.
Model-year note. The JT launched for 2020 sharing the JL Wrangler front clip, then took a mid-cycle refresh for model year 2024 (revealed late 2023) that brought a new seven-slot grille with fresh insert geometry, restyled fender-mounted lighting, and a revised dash — so 2020-2023 and 2024-2026 trucks need different grille, hood, and front-fascia die-lines even though the bedsides and doors carry over. Tell us your year so we cut and quote to the right die-lines.

How long does it take to wrap a Jeep Gladiator?

The JT is almost entirely flat, vertical slab panels — seven-slot grille, flat hood with twin power-dome vents on Rubicon/refresh trims, removable square doors, and a long pickup bed with pronounced wheel-arch flares — which wraps cleanly but demands the flares and bolt-on fender liners come off, since the rivet-look TPO flares and door hinge hardware trap film edges. The fold-down windshield frame, removable hardtop seams, and exposed door-sill pinch welds all need separate finishing rather than one continuous pull.

Wrapping your Gladiator takes 1–3 days in our Sacramento shop after 2–3 business days of print production. The 320 sq ft of panels are wrapped individually, with film tucked into edges and recesses rather than trimmed flush, so nothing lifts at the corners.

From our install bench. Because the Gladiator's box and cab are separate panels, color-match your wrap across the gap so the bed and doors read as one truck. We pull and re-tuck around the removable doors and freedom-top seams, and matte films hide trail dust between washes beautifully.

Which wrap finish is best for a Jeep Gladiator?

Satin or matte suits the Gladiator best: the truck's broad flat hood, doors, and bedsides show every ripple and trail scratch under gloss, while a satin finish reads rugged, hides the slab-panel orange-peel, and is far more forgiving against the dust, branches, and washboard a Jeep actually sees. Color-shift is a strong second choice on show builds because the large unbroken side panels give the flop room to actually travel.

Every Gladiator finish is cut from 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 or Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film — cast vinyl rated 5–7 years in Central Valley sun. Gloss, satin, matte, chrome-delete and colour-shift all cost the same per sq ft; the finish changes the look, not the price. Whichever you pick, upkeep is the same: hand wash with pH-neutral soap, no wax or polish, and leave a fresh wrap unwashed for 48–72 hours while the adhesive cures. Jeep Gladiator wrap FAQ

Do you have to take the doors and fender flares off to wrap a Gladiator?

Yes — the doors come off by design and wrapping them off the truck gives clean wrapped edges around the latches and hinges, and the bolt-on flares should be removed so film can tuck behind them rather than ending in a raw edge on the arch. It is more labor than a fixed-body truck but it is exactly how a Gladiator is built to come apart.

Can you wrap the hardtop and will it survive coming on and off?

The painted Freedom Top panels and one-piece hardtops can be wrapped, but the seams between the removable roof sections and the windshield frame become wrap terminations, so each panel is finished individually. Wrapping them off the vehicle keeps the edges sealed so repeated top-off, top-on cycles do not lift the film.

Is a partial wrap cheaper than a full wrap on a Gladiator?

Yes, and proportionally so. Coverage is what you pay for: a full colour change on a Gladiator covers about 320 sq ft, a partial roughly half that, and lettering or decals around a fifth. The per-square-foot rate is identical — $17 up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 above, with a $550 minimum — so half the coverage really is close to half the price. Final price depends on coverage, finish, and design — never a flat badge price. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a Gladiator wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a Gladiator lasts about 5–7 years with care. On a work truck like the Gladiator the vinyl takes the jobsite scuffs instead of your paint, and it still peels clean off healthy panels when the graphics change. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
