Can you wrap over all the chrome trim on my Navigator, or does it have to come off?
We typically wrap the painted panels and inlay or trim around the chrome grille surround and bright beltline molding rather than wrap over them, since vinyl doesn't bond reliably long-term to bright chrome. Some smaller trim pieces can be popped off for a cleaner edge, but the main grille and tail light bar are usually worked around in place.
Will a wrap fit over the running boards and the big tail light bar?
The power running boards are mechanical and aren't wrapped; we mask to them. The full-width tail light bar is glass/lens, not a paint surface, so the wrap is knifed cleanly to its edge rather than laid across it, which keeps the lighting and any light signature fully visible.
