Owners wrap a ProMaster mainly because it is a fleet and trade workhorse with the flattest, most upright cargo walls in its class, so a wrap reads like a billboard with almost no graphic distortion. The front-wheel-drive layout gives it a lower, flatter load floor and tall slab sides, which is exactly why plumbers, mobile detailers, and delivery fleets in our area pick it over a Transit or Sprinter when full-body branding is the goal. The unique angle is that you get more usable, unbroken vertical canvas per dollar here than on almost any other van.

How much does it cost to wrap a RAM ProMaster?

Wrapping a ProMaster costs from $950. We measure the extra-large body at roughly 420 sq ft and bill that area at $13–$17 per sq ft — never a flat badge rate. 2014–2026 model years all quote the same way.

The ProMaster is a extra-large vehicle — roughly 420 sq ft of wrappable surface. Commercial graphics and lettering start from $950, and a full color change is priced by the area we cover — $17/sq ft up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 for larger jobs, $550 minimum, never a flat badge rate. You pay for the film and the labor it takes to cover your ProMaster, never a flat number copied from a bigger or smaller vehicle.

Three limits worth knowing before you book a ProMaster wrap. 1. The roof and hood age fastest — 3M rates Series 2080 at 7 years vertical but only 2 years horizontal in our climate zone, so flat panels fade first. 2. A wrap covers paint, it does not repair it: on peeling clear coat or filler, film can lift the surface on removal, so we inspect before quoting. 3. Removing an old wrap is billed separately at $75 per hour, and cheap calendared vinyl left past its life takes the longest.
Model-year note. The 2014-2026 ProMaster is one long generation built on the Fiat Ducato platform, so panel die-lines stay largely consistent, but the visible change is the grille and headlight fascia: earlier vans run a simpler grille, while the later 2019-plus refresh brought a revised front bumper and grille treatment. Templates for the cab front, bumper, and headlight surrounds differ across that refresh even though the cargo box sides and roof carry over unchanged. Tell us your year so we cut and quote to the right die-lines.

How long does it take to wrap a RAM ProMaster?

The sides are genuinely flat with shallow horizontal character lines and a pronounced lower body crease, so the main challenge is the deep vertical sliding-door track recess and the sharp tuck around the rear wheel arches rather than compound curves. Expect to relief-cut and tuck around the high-mounted side marker lamps, the gas-strut rear door hinges, and the textured black lower rocker cladding that vinyl will not bond to long-term.

Wrapping your ProMaster takes 1–3 days in our Sacramento shop after 2–3 business days of print production. The 420 sq ft of panels are wrapped individually, with film tucked into edges and recesses rather than trimmed flush, so nothing lifts at the corners.

From our install bench. Those tall, flat ProMaster side walls are a wrap's best friend, but the deep vertical ribs along the lower body and rear fight the vinyl. Have your installer overlap into the channels, not bridge them. The front-wheel-drive low floor means low rockers catch curb spray, so reseal those edges yearly.

Which wrap finish is best for a RAM ProMaster?

Gloss cast vinyl is the right call for most ProMasters because the large flat panels show off color and printed graphics cleanly while staying easy to squeegee and easy for fleet crews to wash. Matte and satin look sharp but every fingerprint, ladder scuff, and loading-dock rub shows on these big sides, so they suit show vans more than working trucks.

Every ProMaster finish is cut from 3M Wrap Film Series 2080 or Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film — cast vinyl rated 5–7 years in Central Valley sun. Gloss, satin, matte, chrome-delete and colour-shift all cost the same per sq ft; the finish changes the look, not the price. Whichever you pick, upkeep is the same: hand wash with pH-neutral soap, no wax or polish, and leave a fresh wrap unwashed for 48–72 hours while the adhesive cures. RAM ProMaster wrap FAQ

Will a wrap fit over the textured black plastic on the lower part of my ProMaster?

Vinyl does not bond reliably to that grained black rocker and bumper cladding, so we wrap the painted metal above it and leave the textured plastic as-is. That break actually looks intentional on this van because the cladding already forms a clean lower line.

Can the whole flat side panel be done in one piece?

On the long-wheelbase and extended ProMaster the cargo sides are tall and wide enough that we typically run them as panels with seams hidden at the door gaps and body creases. The flatness helps, but film comes in fixed widths, so a true one-piece side is not realistic on the bigger lengths.

Is a partial wrap cheaper than a full wrap on a ProMaster?

Yes, and proportionally so. Coverage is what you pay for: a full colour change on a ProMaster covers about 420 sq ft, a partial roughly half that, and lettering or decals around a fifth. The per-square-foot rate is identical — $17 up to 50 sq ft, $15 up to 100, $13 above, with a $550 minimum — so half the coverage really is close to half the price. Final price depends on coverage, finish, and design — never a flat badge price. Get a real number on our Get Started form.

How long does a ProMaster wrap last, and does it come off clean?

A quality cast-vinyl wrap on a ProMaster lasts about 5–7 years with care. Fleet miles and Valley sun age a ProMaster fast, so premium film and sealed edges decide the lifespan — and the wrap lifts clean when you rebrand. Every install carries a 60-day workmanship warranty.
